Steps

Boil matar and potato along with salt till it turns soft.

Heat up pan add ghee, then asafoetida, cumin seeds, ginger and saute it.

Add tomato puree and green chillies and saute till cooked.

Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and tamarind paste and saute it.

Add matra and cook for 2 mins or till all liquid evaporates.

Garnish with chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chilli and lemon juice and enjoy the chaat or serve with kulchas.
