Ingredients

  • For Masala
  • 3tbps Shivalli sambar powder
  • 1 cupGrated and roasted coconut
  • For sambar
  • 3tbps tamarind water
  • 2tbps jaggery
  • 2tbps toor dal
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • Salt for taste
  • Halfcucumber / sauthekayi
  • For tadka
  • 1tbps coconut oil
  • 1tbps mustard
  • leavesFew curry

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut cucumber add water and keep it for heating

  2. 2

    Take grated coconut and add shivali sambar powder put them in mixer, grind till they are like paste

  3. 3

    Add this paste to the boiling cucumber vessel. Add same salt, tamarind juice, jaggery and mix well
