For Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. One of my favorite recipes for these occasions is this one, which my wife loves. You can also make it with salmon, which is delicious.
Heart-Shaped Fish en Papillote
For Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. One of my favorite recipes for these occasions is this one, which my wife loves. You can also make it with salmon, which is delicious.
Steps
- 1
Preparation
Brush half of the melted butter on both sides of the fish fillets.
Season the fish with salt, garlic, pepper, and half of the parsley.
Fold a sheet of parchment paper in half. Using a plate, trace half of a heart shape. - 2
When you cut and open it, you'll have a full heart shape. Cut the parchment paper into heart shapes if you like, or use rectangular sheets.
Mix the onion with some of the parsley and a pinch of salt.
Mix the bell peppers with a little salt, the green onions, and the remaining parsley.
Brush the remaining melted butter onto the parchment paper sheets.
Place a layer of onion on the heart-shaped parchment paper.
Place the fish on top of the onion layer, then top with the bell pepper mixture. - 3
Seal the edges of the heart and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for 20 minutes. The fish will be flavorful and juicy.
Let each person open their own heart-shaped packet at the table.
