Ingredients

20 minutes.
2 servings
  1. 12large potatoes
  2. 1hoho (coloured)
  3. Pinchtumeric powder
  4. 2 tspmargarine
  5. 2 pinchessalt
  6. 300 gkamande(pre boiled)
  7. 1large onion
  8. 1large tomato
  9. 2 clovesgarlic

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes.
  1. 1

    Peel the potatoes,wash them,add them to a sufuria with shallow water,add tumeric powder and salt and boil on medium heat for 20 minutes(this time can be but into ½ by reducing potato chunks).

    Cut onions,tomatoes,hoho and fry them add garlic and stir,at this point you could spices of your choice.

    Add the preboiled kamande to the stew and add water to the stew consistency you prefer. Keep on low heat for another 10 minutes.

    Now the potatoes will have boiled and the water will have decreased,test with a fork if its cooked all the way through, remove from heat and drain any remaining water.

    You could add margarine 2 tsp to make the mashed potatoes silky. Mash until smooth,serve hot,use hoho remainder to garnish,enjoy.
