Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsgram flour
  2. 2 tspred chilli powder
  3. 2 tspred chilli flakes
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  6. 1/2 tbschaat masala
  7. 1 tspcoriander seeds crushed
  8. 1 tspcumin seeds
  9. 1/4 tspyellow food colour
  10. 4potatoes (cut in round slices)
  11. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take gram flour in a bowl and add all the spices in it.

    Mix well with a spoon.

    Now gradually add water to form a smooth batter.

  4. 4

    Once the batter is ready, set it aside for 5 minutes.

    Heat oil in a wok.

  6. 6

    Now dip round cut potato slices in batter and fry on low medium flame one by one until golden brown.

    Serve them in a platter with tamarind sauce and raita.
