Wash and soak rice in water for 20-30 minutes. Then drain and keep aside.

Heat ghee in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds. When they sizzle up add green chilli, ginger and saute for a few seconds.

Add rice, salt and turmeric powder. Mix and cook for a minute or two.

Next add sprouted moong, coconut and mix everything well.

Add water (preferably 2 cups or as required) and cook for 15-20 minutes or until done on medium heat, stirring intermittently.

Once done turn off the flame, add little more ghee and fluff the rice with a fork. Keep it covered.

Serve hot with curd, chachh or some salads on the side.
