This Indonesian herbal drink is great to maintain health. One shot /day can help to reduce inflammation and boost our immune system.

Steps

Chopped turmeric and ginger. Blend turmeric, ginger and tamarind with water using blender.

Pour the mixture into a pot and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Add palm sugar and pinch of salt.

Remove from the heat, strain and press using muslin cloth or strainer.

Pour into glass bottle. Serve warm or cold by adding ice on it. Keep it in refrigerator for 1 week.
