Ingredients

6person
  • 4 cupboiled rice
  • 1 kgchicken cut in 12 pieces
  • 1 tbspsalt
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspcrushed red pepper
  • Halftsp black pepper
  • 1 tspall spice
  • 2 tbspbiryani masala
  • 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • 250 gmyoghurt
  • 3 cupsoil
  • Halftsp zarda colour dissolve with water
  • Halfbunch of coriander leaves
  • Handfulmint leaves
  • 1 cupbrown onions
  • 2large tomatoes
  • 4green chillies
  • 4potatoes cut in 4 pieces each

Steps

    In a blender add yoghurt,brown onion, green chillies, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves and mint leaves.blend all the ingredients.keep aside.

    In a pan add oil, fry the potatoes. Add chicken pieces and fry well till golden in colour. Add all the seasoning and add prepared yoghurt mixture.mix well. Cook till chicken tender.

    Assembling: In a pan put oil from prepared chicken gravy. Then give layer of rice then chicken gravy then pour dissolve zarda colour.

    Then give layer of rice and drizzle zarda colour. Give dam for atleast 15 minutes.

    Biryani is ready to serve. Serve with raita.
