You can put almost anything in wonton wrappers. I made these tonight and filled some of the wrappers with frozen cubes of cheesecake for dessert ! You could stuff them with ingredients for Phillip cheese steak, mozzarella and pepperoni for pizza ones, sausage, egg and cheese for breakfast ones and really anything you want!

Ingredients

2 dozen
  • 1boneless skinless chicken breast diced super fine
  • 1 cupbuffalo sauce
  • 2 ozcream cheese
  • 1/4 cupshredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cupranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 24wonton wrappers
  • 1egg, beaten

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat fryer to 375. Cook chicken in a lightly oiled pan and stir in buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dip, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese.

  2. 2

    Beat the egg and brush each wonton wrapper with it. Place about a teaspoon of the mixture into the center of each wrapper and fold over in a triangle shape. Fry 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ranch to dip.

Mine came out really runny. Filling the little wontons was so messy. Maybe not a whole cup of sauce next time. Tasted good though.
