Ingredients

  • for making beef stock:
  • 750 gramBeef
  • 5 cupsWater
  • 1Onion peeled
  • 1bulb Garlic
  • 1 pieceDried Ginger 1½
  • inch
  • 2 tbspSalt
  • 1 pinchTurmeric
  • 1 tbspDried Coriander
  • 1 tbspFennel Seed
  • 1 tbspWhole spices
  • For making Pulao
  • 1 cupghee
  • 1Onion medium, sliced
  • 1 tbspGinger-garlic paste
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 150 gramYoghurt
  • 1Cardamom
  • 3 piececinnamon
  • 8cloves
  • 10black pepper
  • 2Star anise medium
  • 4-5Chilies chopped
  • 1/2 tspred chilli
  • 1 tbspWhite Cumin Powder
  • 2bay leaves
  • 1 tbspSalt

    Wash and soak the rice for one hour. Take a pressure cooker and add water, meat and all the ingredients of the stock and then cover the cooker for pressure for 20 to 22 minutes.

    Meanwhile the meat is cooking then take a skillet. Add a cup of ghee. Add sliced onion. When golden brown then add ginger-garlic paste. When brown then add a little water to prevent onion from burning. Add salt and spices in it. Then add tomato in it. Stir continuously during the process. Add yoghurt and stir and then add chopped chilies.

    After the time uncover the lid. Separate the meat and stock and strain the stock too.

    Add cooked meat in the masalah. Add strained stock in the masalah. Add rice. When the stock will start drying then cover the lid for 10 minutes on low flame

  5. 5

    Your tasty Beef Yakhni pulao is ready. Serve hot and Enjoy.
