Take masala oats, semolina in a big bowl and mix all the ingredients except oil and baking powder in the mixture, now keep this mixture covered for 15 to 20 minutes and keep aside.

Now add baking powder. Mix all the ingredients well again. If the batter looks too thick, then add some water and mix it. Apply oil in the appam maker.

Put a little batter in the appam maker with a spoon and now cook it by covering it on medium gas for 5 minutes

When the golden brown is roasted from the bottom, flip it over and cover it again and let it cook for 5 minutes. Cook the appam till it turns golden brown on both sides.

Serve Oats appe with green coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
