  • 1/3 poundBraunschweiger
  • 2 slicespumpernickel rye bread
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1-1/2 tablespoonsdijon mustard

Steps

    Butter the pumpernickel with softened or melted butter. Slice the Braunschweiger and add to the bread.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person that eats it like this, sans mustard. A good toasted, seeded rye or pumpernickel with butter and onions and I'm done.
