This is a super simple recipe to make fresh soft delicious bread at home in a very less time. Everyone will relish the mild sweet taste and the soft texture of this homemade bread!

This is a super simple recipe to make fresh soft delicious bread at home in a very less time. Everyone will relish the mild sweet taste and the soft texture of this homemade bread!
Cooking Instructions

Add sugar to 1 cup warm water and dissolve yeast into this. Leave it for 10 mins till the yeast is activated

Add flour, 1 egg, salt and oil to this and knead till a soft dough is formed.

Cover the dough with a wet cloth and leave it for 20 mins so that the dough raises.

After 20 mins, knead the dough once again. Roll into a strip and divide into three equal parts.

Roll each of the three parts into a long strip and make a braid with the three strips. Close the ends.

Generously pour 1 egg on this braided bread dough and sprinkle some sugar on top.

Line the baking tray with parchment paper and place the dough on it. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes till the bread turns golden brown. Enjoy it with butter or as is!

The bread came out so very soft and fluffy. The rounds were so good but the bottom of them turned hard on the second day, but the bread was perfect. I had my rounds on the bottom rack of the oven which is gas. I am thinking they may have gotten too hot. We have 2 racks in the oven.
