Ingredients

  1. 1 cupgram flour
  2. 1 tsp semolina
  3. Pinchturmeric powder
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. 1 tspcitric acid / lemon juice
  7. 1 tsp baking soda
  8. For tadka
  9. 1 cupwater
  10. 4 tablespoonsugar
  11. To tastesalt
  12. 1 tablespoonblack mustard seeds
  13. 2 tspcurry leaves
  14. 2 tspOil for tadka

    Make a smooth batter with all ingredients of batter mixture

    Rest it fir about 10 minutes

    Lastly add baking soda and make sure don't over stir

  4. 4

    Add batter plate Or pot into steamer or you don't have Steamer you can use big pot and add water placed webbed plate in pot make sure water don't touch the plate

    Cook about fifteen minutes at least check it now switch off the flame after five minutes remove your baking plate or mould

  6. 6

    Now prepare sugar syrup for dhokla add a pan add oil when oil heat properly add mustard seeds curry leaves and water

  7. 7

    Now add sugar or salt cook for 2 -3 minutes and pour on demould dhokla and cut into pieces

  8. 8

    Now ready to serve with tamarind chutney or mango powder chutney.
