For making the sugar syrup take a pan and add water in it.

Add sugar and cardamom powder.

Boil it for 5 minutes to form 1string consistency.

Add kesar to it.

Once you see the syrup is thickened turn off the gas and let the syrup cools down.

Now next is to prepare the dough so for it take a bowl.

Add maida,sooji and baking soda to it.

Seive it nicely and turn the powder to another bowl.

Add khoya/milk powder to it.

Mix it all well.

Add ghee/oil, lemon juice and curd to it.

Again mix it well and knead it for 3-4minutes and form a nice dough by adding milk as per the requirement (in preparation of soft dough)

Let it rest for sometime.

Now make small balls of it.

Take a kadai and add oil in it for frying.

Once the oil gets hotter put the balls in it and deep fry it until the color changes to brown.

Now take it out from the kadai and soak it in the sugar syrup until it absorbs the syrup in it and becomes softer.

Serve it in a bowl
