#GoldenApron23 week 18. One of my favorite pies. Way back in pre-historic days LOL I purchased a pie plate with the recipe embedded in the plate. I have always used the pie plate and recipe.

#GoldenApron23 week 18. One of my favorite pies. Way back in pre-historic days LOL I purchased a pie plate with the recipe embedded in the plate. I have always used the pie plate and recipe.
Cooking Instructions

Prepare pastry and line it in a 10" pan. Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit.

Beat eggs and salt until light and lemon colored.

Beat in sugar a little at a time. With a whisk fold in the melted butter and corn syrup.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top.

Bake in 375 degree preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, until set and pastry is browned.
