Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupsoaked urad dal
  • 1/2 cupsoaked yellow moong dal
  • As requiredGreen chillies
  • As requiredGinger
  • As required Dahi
  • As per taste Sugar
  • As per tasteChat masala
  • As required Salt
  • As requiredRed chilli powder
  • as requiredroasted jeera powder
  • As requried imli chutney
  • As required Green chutney (optional)
  • handfulGreen coriander leaves
  • As requiredSev (optional)

    Grind the soaked dals.Add ginger and green chillies and salt according to your taste.

  2. 2

    Mix well keep aside for at least 2 hours.(you can make it right away but texture is best when we keep it for 2 hrs at least).

  3. 3

    Now in non-stick appe pan pour the mixture,and cook it from all sides.

  4. 4

    Now put the ready hot vada in water,take out and squeeze all the excess water.

  5. 5

    Add sugar in dahi according to your taste.

  6. 6

    Put in a plate keep soaked vada,add sweetend dahi,imli chutney,green chutney,a pinch of salt,jeera powder,chaat masala,Red chilli powder,sev and coriander.

  7. 7

    Dish is ready to serve.
