Tomato coconut chutney

Heat the oil in a pan, add the urad dal, fry it and transfer in a small bowl, now add red chilli, chopped garlic, chopped onion and curry leaves and saute on a medium flame for 2 mins.

Add the tomatoes and saute on a medium flame for 3 mins.

Add the coconut and salt and saute on a medium flame for 2 mins.Allow it to cool completely.Once cool blend in a mixer till smooth.

Take a tadka pan, put oil in it, and heat the oil add mustard seeds then pour tempering in chutney, transfer chutney in a bowl and serve with dosa and idli.
