Soak dal,rice,poha and meethi seeds separately for 5 to 6 hrs or overnight.

Next day grind dal using little ice cubes and grind to smooth batter,grind rice with poha and methi seeds.Mix all grinded pastes together and beat with hand nicely,add salt and beat again.Cover the batter and leave for fermentation for 6 to 7 hrs.

Collect all ingredients for Uttapam. You can add little more water to make batter thin to make dosa.

Heat a non-stick tawa,don't apply oil on tawa,when tawa is hot reduce flame and wipe tawa with wet napkin.Now pour one ladle of batter.Put some chopped onion,tomato and capsicum. Cover and cook on low flame.

Once it dries from above,brush oil on top m on sides and flip Uttapam and cook on other side for few minutes.

Press little after flipping Uttapam. Flip again and your Uttapam is ready.Serve with coconut chutney or ketchup.
