Ingredients

  1. 125 gself-raising flour
  2. 75 gcaster sugar
  3. 100 gsoft margarine
  4. 1 1/2egg
  5. 1 teaspoonvanilla essence
  6. 4 tablespoonscrushed cornflakes or oats

Cooking Instructions

    Set oven to 180 degrees Celsius

    Sieve the flour onto a plate

  3. 3

    Put the margarine and sugar into a large bowl and mix with a wooden spoon

  4. 4

    Add the egg and the vanilla essence to the creamed margarine and sugar, then stir in the flour to make a form mixture

  5. 5

    Wet your hands in a bowl of cold water

  6. 6

    Take a teaspoon of mixture and roll it into a ball in your wet hands

  7. 7

    Roll the ball in the crushed cornflakes. repeat with the rest of the mixture

  8. 8

    Well space the balls flattened slightly, on the baking tray

  9. 9

    Bake for 20-30 minutes in the oven. Remove and cool on a wire tray
