Ingredients

  • 20Dates
  • 100 gButter
  • 4Egg
  • 4 tbspVermicelli
  • as requiredMilk - enough to sock dates
  • 3 tbspSugar
  • 1/8 tspBaking soda
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Sock the pitted dates in milk for an hour.

  2. 2

    Roast the vermicelli for a minute and grind it into powder. Keep it aside.

  3. 3

    Blend butter and socked dates(along with milk) to get a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

  4. 4

    Whisk eggs,sugar, salt & baking powder until it gets fluffy.

  5. 5

    Fold everything together to get a smooth batter.

  6. 6

    Heat a pan, grease it with ghee/butter and pour the prepared batter. Keep covered and cook it in very low flame until its done.

  7. 7

    When it's done flip it into another heated and greased pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes in very low flame.

  8. 8

    Cut & Serve...
