Firstly dry roast semolina on low flame till it's slightly pinkish in colour and becomes aromatic.

Now, boil 4 cups of water.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a kadhai and add Mustard seeds, let it splutter, now add urad dal, then add, Curry leaves, Chopped green chillies, grated ginger and chopped onions. Saute well.

Now add green peas. Cover and cook till peas are soft and tender. Now add roasted semolina and salt. Mix well.

Now to this add boiling water and keep stirring to avoid formation of any lumps. Mix well cover and cook for another 2 mins.

Now, finally add chopped coriander leaves, ghee and lemon juice. Switch off the flame

Serve hot and tasty upma by garnishing it with barik sev with ginger tea
