Steps
- 1
I boiled my peas by adding a little salt and a pinch of bicarbonate and boiling for 10mins. This helps in retaining the colour. After it has cooked, run cold water to stop the cooking process. Cool and store in the freezer
- 2
Prepare the potatoes, carrots and clean them then chop to your desired size and shape
- 3
Prepare the remaining ingredients by chopping them
- 4
In a sauce pan heat the oil, add onions and cook till brown, then add garlic and cook for some few seconds, add tomatoes and green pepper and cook to form a paste
- 5
Add salt and cubes then add the potatoes & carrots. Add water to the same level as the above ingredients
- 6
Cook until the potatoes are almost cooked, then add the previously boiled peas-rem to remove from freezer prior to your cooking. Cook for 5mins and remove from heat
- 7
Serve with your favourite accompaniment, in my case i like it with rice
