Ingredients

Prep 40/ reheat cook 25 mins
6-8 servings
  1. 1 poundspaghetti noodles, thick regular or red lentil gluten free
  2. 1 poundItalian Sausage
  3. 1 poundfresh hamburger
  4. 4sweet onions
  5. 1crate mushrooms optional
  6. 3 tbsporegano(dried)
  7. 8 ozricotta cheese
  8. 1 pkgPhiladelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
  9. 6 cupsmozzarella cheese
  10. 1/ 2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  11. 2 tbspItalian seasoning
  12. 1 tspdried basil
  13. 2 tsppink sea salt
  14. 2 tspblack pepper
  15. 1 tspred pepper flakes
  16. Homemade Sauce
  17. 1 can (16 oz)Tomato Sauce
  18. 1 canstewed or dice tomatoes w oregano, herbs
  19. 1 tbspbrown sugar
  20. Add 2 tsp dried oregano
  21. 2 tspbasil dried
  22. 1/2 cupsliced sweet onions from above
  23. 1 tspgarlic salt
  24. Taste sauce - add salt and pinch of pepper. Add more sugar if needed

Cooking Instructions

Prep 40/ reheat cook 25 mins

    Prep one ceramic baking dish, spray. You can make this ahead and heat up before guests arrive. Or heat oven to bake right away. 350 for 25 minutes.

    Brown Sausage, Hamburger. Add sliced sweet onions to this mix when browning, add oregano and basil to meat, lightly sprinkle w burger seasoning or Italian Seasoning. Drain on plate, use paper towel to soak excess grease.

    Make Sauce- follow recipe for homemade or use Rao’s sauce one jar.

    Make spaghetti- cook Al Dente, drain. DO NOT Rinse. Toss set aside.

    Mix Ricotta, Cream Cheese, 1/2 cup parm, herbs above- oregano, basil, add garlic salt, salt, pepper. Mix up..

    Add 1/2 noodles to pan, add 2 cups sauce, add 1/2 meat / onion mixture, add mushrooms (optional) these should be minced fine. Mix well, smooth out, place 1/2 cheese mixture all over top. Smooth.

    Repeat w noodles, remainder of sauce and meat. Add 4-6 cups of mozzarella. Add sprinkle of oregano on top. Bake 350 20-25 minutes
