Cook the beef with salt, garlic, and onion.

Separately, sauté garlic, onion, tomato, and soak dried ancho chile, blend and set aside. When the beef is almost done, add the blended mixture.

Add corn first and let it cook for a while, then add chayote, zucchini, potato, green beans, masa balls, and a sprig of epazote. Season to taste.

Serve with white rice. If desired, add sliced red onion with salt, habanero chile, and lime. You can also squeeze lime into the broth.
