Gluten Free, Dairy Free yummy eats. See last photo for a version that isn't gluten free.
.
I'm trying a new thing in 2021 where I'll be going GF and DF but my family won't be. I DO NOT want to make 2 dinners every night, so I'll be making a "regular version" and a GF and DF version of every family dinner I make. Hoping this will save myself and others time in the kitchen while still sticking to a new "diet" but also enjoying the same meal the rest of the family is.

Ingredients

  1. 3medium potatoes, peeled and boiled (I used russet)
  2. 2-7 ozcans of tuna (I used skipjack tuna) but any is fine
  3. 2green onions, diced
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tspground turmeric
  6. 1.5 tbswhole grain dijon
  7. Salt and pepper, to taste
  8. Avocado Crema
  9. 1avocado
  10. Juice of 1 lime
  11. 1 tbswater
  12. Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

In a blender, blend the crema ingredients together and set aside

  2. 2

In a large boil, mash your potatoes then add all your ingredients to the bowl and mix.

  3. 3

Form your patties and pan fry in a tbsp of olive oil until both sides are browned and they're warmed through. ********** I made these in the air fryer, to do that: lightly spray the top of each patty with a little olive oil spray (or other non-stick spray) and airyfry at 350⁰F for 15 min

  4. 4

**for those who are not GF or DF. Once I've made the GF and DF patties, with the left over mixture I added 1/4 cup shredded cheddar, formed the patties and also rolled them in panko breadcrumbs seasoned with salt, pepper and dried parsley. Cooking method was the same for these as well

  5. 5

Serve with a salad, or wrap it up with your fav veggies in a tortilla wrap and serve with the avocado crema♡
