Mild Chicken Curry

I really wanted to make curry that would taste great with naan bread.
The spice level is determined in Step 6, so adjust to your taste then!
You don't need to cover the pan with a lid. Use medium heat when simmering. Recipe by uzukaji

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Dice the onion and garlic and put aside. If you're using chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
In a pot, add vegetable oil, garlic and red chili peppers. When the garlic turns a little brown, add the onions and fry until translucent.
- 3
Adding the onions... fry until translucent.
- 4
Add the can of tomatoes, stir well and let it simmer. Add curry powder and salt and simmer some more.
- 5
Add meat and simmer with the other ingredients. Add water.
- 6
Finally, pour in the coconut milk and let it simmer further. It's here where you should check the taste and adjust the spiciness to your liking.
- 7
Continue tasting, add salt to taste and it's done!
- 8
Enjoy with naan bread.

Can also be served with Roti. This recipe can serve 4-6 people.Leftovers can be put in the fridge and can be eaten up 3 days from when the chicken curry is made. kv -

Chicken Curry Chicken Curry
My husband requested this dish so I tried it out. I managed to cook this in a short time -- it was surprisingly easy!-Please simmer the chicken until it becomes tender. Please skim off the scum!-I use spicy curry roux for my family. If you are using sweet curry roux, add ketchup to your liking.-I recommend adding heavy cream or coffee creamer to make the taste mild. For 3 servings. Recipe by Tomomaki0313 cookpad.japan
