I wanted to eat homemade bread that only needs to be baked when I wake up in the morning.

I updated the recipe to make it an even fluffier bread! Recipe by saku_nana

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1Basic Microwaved Bread

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the ingredients from"Basic Microwaved Bread" and microwave for 30 seconds at 200 W.

  2. 2

Once done, divide the dough into the necessary amount of portions and form their shapes. Place the shaped dough into a Tupperware or plastic container.

  3. 3

Cover the dough with a thoroughly wrung out damp paper towel or kitchen towel.

  4. 4

    Close the lid.

  5. 5

Leave just like that in the vegetable drawer of your refrigerator for 1 night (8+ hours).

  6. 6

When you wake up in the morning, place the container as is into the microwave for 1 minutes (200 W) to raise the temperature of the dough. This is pretty important!!

  7. 7

Open the lid and take a look. They should have risen about 1.5x the original size overnight.

  8. 8

Move the dough to a baking tray and optionally coat with an egg or milk glaze to give the surface some shine. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 180°C oven.

  9. 9

Serve freshly baked bread in the morning!

  10. 10

If you don't have time in the morning and want to eat right away, you can very lightly cover the dough with plastic wrap and microwave for 1-2 minutes to create a delicious Chinese steamed bun-type bread.
