Mix the corn flour with the warm water, salt, and oil. Knead until smooth, then cover and let rest.

For the beef, heat the oil in a skillet. Add the ground beef and cook, then add the vegetables. Season with salt, pepper, the half bouillon cube, and cook. Add the lemon juice and mustard, cook a little longer, and when ready, stir in the ketchup.

To assemble the arepas, form balls of dough of similar size and flatten them using a clean piece of plastic. Heat the oil and fry the arepas until they puff up. Remove quickly from the oil, make an opening, fill with the beef and an egg with a little salt on top, then return to the oil and fry until the egg is set. Done!
