Sticky Chocolate Chip Protein Bars

Equipment - 9x9 inch square pan

Notes - difficult to cut through, the texture gets a little sticky. I did not add any sweetener because my protein powder already had stevia in it.
You can add the stevia if you used unsweetened protein powder
You can sub any flavour of protein powder
Using whey protein powder does not form too well, so you may want to add more flour to solidify the shape

Storage - keep frozen

Ingredients

1 hr 15 mins

  • 120 gchocolate whey protein powder
  • 120 mlunsweetened almond milk
  • 28 gcoconut flour
  • 3-4 tbsppeanut butter
  • 1 tspcinnamon
  • 50 g90% dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsphoney or stevia to taste (optional, any choice)

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine and mix the protein powder, coconut flour, peanut butter, cinnamon and milk

    Stir until desired texture

    Break the dark chocolate into small chunks and stir in.

  4. 4

    Pour the batter into the pan

  5. 5

    Chill for 1 hour in the freezer

    Cut into 6 bars. Store separately in the freezer.
