Soru Chakli Rice Crepe/Makar Sankranti recipe

Wash the dal and rice. Soak them separately for 6-7 hours. Grind them separately and make a smooth paste and mix them.

Grind the fennel seed and ginger. Add this paste to the batter. Add salt hing and water. Mix well. Make a thin batter.

Heat heavy iron tawa or none stick tawa on medium flame. Apply half tsp of oil on tawa and spread it.

Pour a ladle full of batter. Spread it into a round shape. The chila should be thin and soft. Cook for a minute. Then flip the chila. Cook the other side also. Then remove it from tawa. Clean the tawa and repeat the process.

You can also add some chopped coriander leaves and chopped green chilli into the batter. Mix it and repeat the process. Serve it with all matar.
