Pressure cook chayote and dal for 3 whistles

In a pan add oil saute the ingredients until golden brown and grind everything into a fine paste

In a pan add oil when it hot add Mustard seeds when it splutter add red chilli, curry leaves

Add the pressure cooked chayote and dal

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and boil for a few minutes

Then add the grinded paste, hing and add little water if it is thick.

Boil for a few minutes and switch off the flame.
