Ingredients

  1. 2 cupscooked butternut, drained
  2. 5 tablespoonscake flour (can add additional if mixture is too sloppy)
  3. 2.5 teaspoonsbaking powder
  4. 1egg, lightly beaten
  5. 1 pinchsalt
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Cinnamon sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Mash the butternut.

  2. 2

    Add the flour, baking powder, egg and salt, and mix it up!

  3. 3

    If the mixture is a bit runny, feel free to add more flour.

  4. 4

    Heat the oil in the pan and drop spoonfuls of mixture into the oil.

  5. 5

    Fry for a minute or two on both sides until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Place on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and serve!
