Banana flower with Shrimps mocha diye chingri

Cleaned, chopped the banana flower.Then soak it in turmeric powder for 15 mints.

Strain the chopped banana flower from turmeric water & steamed it in a pressure cooker for 2,3 whistles.Cool it & again strain it on a strainer.

Clean the shrimps & then lightly stir fry in mustard oil with salt, turmeric powder (don't overcooked it), keep aside.

Fry the small cubed potatoes in a kadai till golden brown & keep aside.

Then in the same oil add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom pods, splitter green chillies & saute for 1-2 mint till the aroma comes out.

Now add the coconut paste & saute for 1-2 mints. Then add ginger paste, cumin #InviteAndEarnpaste or powder, salt,turmeric powder, sugar & cook till the raw smell is gone & the oil separates.

Now add the steamed banana flowers & saute for few mints.

Add the fried potatoes, fried shrimps,fried coconuts & mix well.Add some lukewarm water & stir well.

Cover it with a lid & cooked it for another few mints.

Then switch off the flame, drizzle some ghee on the top & serve hot with steamed rice.
