Preheat oven to 180°C.

In a bowl, beat marg and sugar.

Add eggs and beat till combined.

Add flour, baking powder and the grated lemon zest. Mix well.

Add milk and mix well.

Pour into tin and bake bake 45 mins.

In a jug, mix lemon juice with 2 tsp granulated sugar.

When cake is cooked, pour lemon juice and sugar over cake. Leave in the tin to cool.
