Ingredients

30 minutes
Serves 4 servings
  1. Main Ingredients
  2. 1/2pineapple (diced)
  3. Pork shoulder (cut into thick slices or chunks)
  4. 2small bell peppers (sliced)
  5. 1little minced garlic
  6. 1 pinchsalt
  7. 1little cooking oil
  8. Sweet and Sour Sauce
  9. 2 tablespoonsketchup
  10. 1 tablespoonwhite vinegar
  11. 1 tablespoongranulated sugar
  12. 1 tablespoonwater
  13. Pork Marinade
  14. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  15. 1little white pepper
  16. 1little chopped green onion or minced garlic
  17. Batter for Pork
  18. 1small cup cornstarch
  19. 1small cup sweet potato starch
  20. Cooking oil (use according to personal preference and skill)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Coat the marinated pork shoulder with cornstarch and sweet potato starch in order, then let it sit to absorb moisture.

  2. 2

    Heat oil and quickly fry the pork slices until golden brown on the outside, then set aside. (A simple way to check the oil temperature: dip a chopstick in a little sweet potato starch and put it in the oil. If the starch moves quickly, the oil is hot enough.)

  3. 3

    In another pan, add a little oil, minced garlic, and salt. Stir-fry the bell peppers, then set aside.

  4. 4

    In the same pan from step 3, add the prepared sweet and sour sauce and bring to a boil. Then add the bell peppers, fried pork, and pineapple. Stir-fry until everything is coated and colored, then serve.
