Wash the rice, dhal and methi seeds altogether and soak for about 3 hours.

Then grind them to a fine batter. Allow it to ferment for about 8 hours.

In the next day morning, add 1 tsp and 1/2 sugar in the fermented batter and mix together.

Heat aappam kadai, add a ladle full batter into it. Swirl it. Close with lid and allow to cook.

Take it from the kadai. Tasty aappam is ready

Serve with coconut milk or with any kurma
