Vada Pav

Who doesn't know about this. When we go to Gujarat and Ratnagiri station comes and we eat Vada Pav. That is the tradition, we follow whenever possible. I never had Vada Pav in Mumbai.

Steps
- 1
In the pan, add oil. Once oil is hot, add mustard and jeera. Add crushed garlic, green chillies and ginger. Add asfoitida and turmeric. Add boiled and mashed potatoes. Add salt. Mix it well. Let it cool
- 2
Once it is cool, give ball shape. Take batter ingredients together. Mix it with some water.
- 3
Add pinch of baking soda. Mix it well. Deep the potato balls in that batter. Cover it properly and deep fry it.
- 4
Fry green chillies too. Give a slight slit in the chillies so it won't splutter too much.
- 5
Keep all batata Vada ready. To assemble, slightly slit the paav. Spread green chutney. Sprinkle dry chuteny. Place the barata vada. Press it gently. Serve with fried green chillies.
