Fill water in the cooker as required for boil pulses. After heating the water, add washed pulses to it

Add salt and turmeric powder to it. After 4 whistles, turn off the flame

Now chop the onions and tomatoes. Grind the ginger, peeled garlic, and green chilies.

Now take a pan for tadka fry. Add 2-3 tablespoons oil.

After heating oil, add grinded ingredients to it. After sauteing it for 1 minute, add chopped onions

After sauteing it, add red chili powder and black pepper powder.

Then add chopped tomatoes to it. Saute it for 5-10 minutes.

Then add this tadka fry into the daal. Boil for 1 -2 minutes.
