I'm hooked on whole wheat flour and wanted to come up with a quick and easy snack recipe using it.

You're better off under-mixing than over-mixing, so don't worry too much if all of the flour doesn't get fully incorporated.
Add as many sesame seeds as you like. You can thrown in loads and they still taste great. Recipe by Asaneginia

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 200 grams▲Whole wheat flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 2 tbsp▲Beet sugar
  • 2 tsp▲Baking powder
  • 1 dash▲Salt
  • 4 tbspCanola oil
  • 90 mlWater
  • 20 gramsBlack sesame seeds

Steps

    Put all of the▲ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

    Add the oil and mix gently. Once combined, add the water and mix thoroughly with a rubber spatula until the dough comes together.

  3. 3

    Mix in the black sesame seeds, then place the dough on a work surface. Knead the dough.

  4. 4

    Cut it into12 pieces, bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 190℃, and they're done.

    If making these for 1, use half the listed quantities. Eaten right out of the oven they are crunchy, but tend to get softer after they cool.
