Gas Stove Cooked White Rice 🍚

Fragrant and perfectly cooked white rice, a great success using the gas stove for the first time! Each grain is distinct and delicious! 😋
I usually use an electric rice cooker, but since it was busy cooking something else, I decided to try using the gas stove.
Now, even without a rice cooker, I can make fragrant white rice, perfect for camping trips 😊

Fragrant and perfectly cooked white rice, a great success using the gas stove for the first time! Each grain is distinct and delicious! 😋
I usually use an electric rice cooker, but since it was busy cooking something else, I decided to try using the gas stove.
Now, even without a rice cooker, I can make fragrant white rice, perfect for camping trips 😊
Steps

Rice to water ratio = 1:1
Rinse the rice and add an equal amount of water. - 2
Let the rinsed rice sit for 15 minutes to absorb water, making it tastier when cooked!

Before starting to cook, add a few drops of sesame oil (to enhance aroma and keep the grains separate, optional).

Turn on high heat and bring the water to a boil, stirring occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking (if the lid is transparent, you can cover the pot to reduce heat loss and boil faster).

Once the entire surface of the water is boiling (including the center), cover the pot and reduce to low heat;
Do not open the lid during the following steps to prevent steam from escaping. - 6
Cook on low heat for 10 minutes (remember to time it ⌛️).

After 10 minutes, turn off the heat, but do not open the lid.

Keep the lid on and let it sit for 25 minutes, allowing the internal steam to finish cooking the rice.

After 25 minutes, open the lid, and your delicious white rice is ready!
It's even more distinct and delicious than when I use the rice cooker! - 10
Pour curry over it, and the curry perfectly blends with the distinct white rice. The smooth, aromatic curry paired with the soft, fragrant rice is incredibly satisfying 🍛
