Strain the ground crab thoroughly to extract the liquid. Bring to a boil with 2 quarts water (about 2 liters). When the crab meat floats to the surface, skim it off and set aside.

For the crab cake: Place all the crab meat in a steamer. Mash 2 pieces of soft tofu, add 5 duck eggs, and 2 teaspoons fried garlic. Season with salt, sugar, MSG, and pepper to taste. Mix well. Steam for 40 minutes.

Wash and drain all the vegetables and herbs.

Clean the snails thoroughly, rubbing with alum and salt. Sauté until cooked, then season with 1 teaspoon seasoning powder.

For the shrimp and pork cakes: Grind the dried shrimp, then mix with ground pork and 1 egg. Add a little sugar, MSG, and pepper. Mix well and form into balls.

Add 1 quart water (about 1 liter) to the crab broth (total 3 quarts/3 liters). Simmer with pork bones until fully cooked. Add the pork blood, then the shrimp and pork cakes, fried tofu, and tomatoes. Add 3 tablespoons annatto oil and 2 tablespoons fried shallots. Season to taste.
