Ingredients

50 mins
  1. 8tomatoes (chopped in the shape of X)
  2. 1/4 cupgingelly oil
  3. 12 podsgarlic (chopped)
  4. 1/2 TspAsafoetida powder
  5. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  6. 3red chilli
  7. 1/4 Tspmustard
  8. 1/4 Tspcumin
  9. 1/4 Tspblack pepper
  10. 1/4 Tspurad dal
  11. 1/4 Tspchana dal
  12. 1/4 Tspfenugreek
  13. 1 tspchill powder
  14. as per tasteSalt
  15. 1 tspKashmiri chilli powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a mixer jar add mustard, fenugreek, cumin, black pepper, urad dal, chana dal, 1/4tsp turmeric powder, 1/4tsp asafoetida powder, red chilli, salt and grind it to a fine powder.
    Now our chutney powder is ready.

    In a pan pour oil and add tomato, garlic, salt, asafoetida powder, turmeric powder and saute it. Cover the pan with a lid.
    After the tomato gets smashed Add the chutney powder, chilli powder, kashmir chilli powder and saute it.

    Now our Delicious Tomato chutney is Ready.
