I made this because my son wanted to eat rice burgers.
After you make rice balls, peel the plastic wrap off, and wrap it around more loosely for the second time so you can flatten them out into "buns". Change up the filling to your liking. Recipe by Moechin

I made this because my son wanted to eat rice burgers.
After you make rice balls, peel the plastic wrap off, and wrap it around more loosely for the second time so you can flatten them out into "buns". Change up the filling to your liking. Recipe by Moechin

Mix the ■ ingredients into the rice. Divide the rice into 2 portions to make 2 round rice balls. (It's easier if you wrap them in plastic wrap.)

Unwrap the plastic wrap and rewrap loosely. Overlap the rice balls and press them down to make 2 equally sized "buns".

Flatten them out into your preferred sizes and set them aside to cool.

Stir-fry the pork, sliced lotus roots, and onions in order, and season with the [A] ingredients to your liking. (You could also use bottled yakiniku sauce.)

Heat a generous amount of sesame oil in a frying pan and fry both sides of the rice patties until golden brown. Soak up the extra oil using a paper towel.

Sandwich the fillings and enjoy.
