Spicy Baked Miso & Mayonnaise Chicken Breasts

"Let's have yakitori!" I said as I looked at my fridge. I didn't have any chicken thighs.

Breast meat isn't that juicy, so use mayonnaise to make it juicy!

Adjust the amounts of miso and mayo as you prefer. Please adjust the heat on your grill when you cook them. Cook them thoroughly in Step 4 and make sure they brown in Step 5, and then just leave them to cook.
I burn these a lot, so be careful when you cook them. Recipe by hiromi_ja

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1breast Chicken breast meat
  2. 1 bagBean sprouts
  3. 1/2 bunchChinese chives
  4. 1 tbsp■Miso
  5. 2 tbsp■Mayonnaise
  6. 2 tsp■Gochujang
  7. 2 tbspSake
  8. 1 dashSalt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Season with sake, salt, and pepper.

  2. 2

Boil some water in a pot and boil the bean sprouts and chives. Drain them and then once again boil some water. While waiting on the water to boil, mix together all the ■ ingredients.

  3. 3

Next, just like in the picture, form some aluminum foil into a tray above the grate and add in the chicken from Step 1. Pour in some water underneath the rack.

  4. 4

Next grill it on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, until it starts to turn golden brown. When it does, turn it over!

  5. 5

Next, take the sauce you made in Step 2 and coat the chicken with it. Once again grill it, but this time on medium-low heat, until it's golden brown. Be careful not to overcook it.

  6. 6

Place the boiled bean sprouts and chives on a large plate and top with the chicken. It's done! You don't even have to clean your grill.

  7. 7

In Step 2 you can also easily prep them in the microwave! Put the bean sprouts and the Chinese chives on a plate, cover them with plastic wrap, and microwave for about 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Then just use them as is.
