Ingredients

  1. 1whole, oven ready chicken (completely defrosted)
  2. 4 tbspDijon mustard
  3. 1Maggi cube
  4. 1 tbspoil (vegetable or peanut)
  5. 60 mlred palm oil
  6. 1salt to taste
  7. 1Knife to cut the chicken
  8. 1 largebowl
  9. 1 largepan
  10. 1Cooked rice (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Joint the chicken into serving-sized pieces. Arrange in a bowl and spread the Maggi and mustard over it evenly. Marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Heat the vegetable oil in the pan.

  3. 3

    Add the chicken pieces and simmer over low heat until all the liquid has been absorbed.

  4. 4

    Pour the palm oil over the chicken and serve with rice.
