I love fresh turnips.

It's also delicious if you add coarsely ground black pepper to finish! I used half of the 80 g tinned tuna. Drain the extra moisture from the turnips really well. Adjust the amount of the mustard to taste. Recipe by COCOnchino daidokoro

Ingredients

  1. 2Turnips
  2. 1/2tin Tinned tuna
  3. 2 tspor (to taste) Grainy mustard
  4. 1Natural salt
  5. 1 dashExtra virgin olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the turnips and cut into 5 mm thick slices. Sprinkle with salt, and leave them for a while. Boil the turnip leaves, and squeeze out excess water, then cut into 3-4 cm long.

    Once the turnips release moisture, squeeze it out. Wrap the turnips in kitchen paper, and drain well. Drain the excess oil from the tinned tuna.

    Mix the turnips, turnip leaves, tinned tuna and mustard together, and serve on a plate. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

    I used spring cabbage instead of turnip leaves.
