I wrote this popular recipe for pan-fried ginger pork in a simple way so that you can easily remember the ingredient ratios.

-Garlic also goes well with this!
-Be careful not to over-simmer the meat after adding the sauce. It'll get too salty and tough. Not all of the sauce should be cooked off -- there should be enough left to spoon over the meat once you've plated everything. Recipe by Umemikkii

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 gramsThinly sliced pork
  2. 1/2Onion
  3. 3 tbsp● Soy sauce
  4. 3 tbsp● Cooking sake
  5. 3 tbsp● Mirin
  6. 1 tbspGrated ginger

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the ● ingredients and the ginger in bowl. Marinete the meat for about 10 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan and stir fry sliced onions until soft. Take them out and set aside for now.

    Heat some oil again in the same pan and place in the slices of pork, one by one. Make sure that the slices of meat don't overlap each other.

    When one side is browned, flip it over and add the onions and the rest of the sauce.
