My boyfriend (now husband) loves roast pork and herbs, so when I combined them he raved about it! He said he may even like this better than his favorite hamburgers... .

Adjust the baking time to the size and type of your oven.
If the juices run clear, the meat is done!

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 300to 350 grams Pork (block) - choose one of the following 3 options:
  • 1it's tender, not too fatty and just right ♪. Option 1: Pork round
  • 1hearty and delicious! for parties and events Option 2: Pork shouder
  • 1healthy and low fat! tender Option 3: Pork fillet
  • 1Salt and pepper (use rock salt and black pepper if possible)
  • 1Rosemary
  • The sauce ingredients:
  • 1 mediumGrated onion
  • 1 mediumSweet new harvest onion (grated)
  • 2 tbspWhite wine
  • 1/3 tbspBalsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbspMirin
  • 1 tbspOyster sauce
  • 2 tbspJapanese Worcestershire-style sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Season the block of pork generously with salt and pepper and rosemary, and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour. (If you're busy, 30 minutes is fine.)

    Put the meat on a baking pan. (If it has a layer of fat, put that on top.) Roast in a 200°C oven for 30 minutes, then roast for another 20 minutes at 170°C. Done!

    Make the sauce: Add the -marked ingredients to the baking pan and mix with the pan juices. Bring to a boil on the stove-top while scraping the pan. (Use oven mitts.)

    Transfer all the sauce ingredients from the pan to a frying pan and bring to a boil.
