Red potatoes are naturally glutenfree and fat free and high in vitamins , fibres and complex carbohydrates.
Steps

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, chilles and onions.
Add salt and let the cook till onions are translucent.
Add turmeric smashed potatoes and mix together well. once the mixture is cooled down, make small pedha like balls and keep aside. - 2
Heat idli steamer with water.
Grease the idli plates and pour idli batter just half way. Approximately 1 tablespoon.
Now place the aloo mixture balls and pour idli batter on top again.
Now steam the idlis as usual for 15 minutes.
Remove them from the idli plates once they cool down a little. - 3
